There’s nothing faster or better than homemade chocolate pudding for dessert. And you won’t believe how easy and simple it’s. You only need 5 ingredients to have a delicious dessert in less than 15 minutes. The best part is that it’s gluten-free and vegan. It’s much healthier and has fewer additives than store-bought. And it’s also one of the best easy party dishes.
Anna’s Tips:
- After you pour in the milk, you must stir constantly so that the bottom of the pot doesn’t burn.
- If the mixture isn’t thick enough, add some cornstarch with the milk (stir it well before pouring it into the pot).
Add an appropriate amount in small amounts, only add it if it’s not thick enough, you don’t have to add too much at once.
What do you need:
Ingredients:
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 cups cold whole milk
1 cup coconut shred
How to make:
- Mix half of the milk (one cup) and the sugar in a saucepan.
- Mix another cup of milk, cornstarch and cocoa powder in a bowl or measuring cup.
- Boiled – Place the saucepan on the stove, gradually add step 2 (cocoa milk) and stir until there are no lumps. And bring the mixture to a boil.
- Switch to medium heat when it boils and keep stirring for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
- Take it off the heat. Line the container with parchment paper and pour the mixture into it. Let it sit for about 1-2 hours or until it has cooled completely.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces and coat with shredded coconut.
- Ready to enjoy.
Another way to serve:
- Or serve in individual glasses. Sprinkle with shredded coconut on the top.
How long can it keep:
You can make more and keep it in the refrigerator for at least 5 days.
Use a zip bag or food saver to keep fresh to avoid other odors in the refrigerator.
