Ingredients
Marinade Shrimp:
450g1lbshrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2teaspooncornstarch
1teaspoonShaoxing wine or dry sherry
1teaspoonsesame oil
some black pepper
Sauce:
1.5teaspoonsoy sauce
1teaspoonoyster sauce
1tablespoonShaoxing wine
1teaspooncornstarch
80mlwater
Ingredients:
1/2red bell pepper,sliced
1cupbroccoli
3~5mushroom,sliced
1/4cupcarrots, sliced
5~8baby corns
1cupgreen peas
1tablespoonsesame oil
3clovesgarlic,minced
Instructions
Marinade Shrimp:Wash the shrimp first, then dry them with a paper towel. Mix the shrimp with sesame oil, Shaoxing wine, white pepper, and cornstarch until the shrimp are evenly coated. Set aside.
Mix the sauce together - soy sauce, oyster sauce, Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and water.
Heat sesame oil in a large non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Sauté the aromatics - add minced garlic and saute for about 20 seconds.
Add broccoli - then cover the pan and simmer for about 2 minutes.
Add carrots and mushrooms - continue to stir fry for 1 minute.
Add red pepper, green peas, and baby corns - stir for 1 minute more.
Add sauce and shrimp - cook for another 2-3 minutes until shrimp are cooked through and sauce thickens.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve. Enjoy your meal!
