Easy Bok Choy With Garlic Soy Sauce

Easy, quick, and healthy restaurant-style bok choy takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. It's full of garlic and soy sauce, savory and slightly sweet. The sauce is the star that makes this restaurant-style bok choy so tasty and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Bok Choy
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp salt

Garlic Sauce:

  • 6~8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp crushed Sichuan peppercorn, (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut the bok choy in half. Wash and drain, set aside.
  • Prepare a pot of boiling water, add salt and oil, and put in the bok choy. Cover the pot and let it boil for 2 minutes.
  • Drain and place the bok choy on a plate.
  • Cut the garlic into pieces. Set aside.
  • Prepare a bowl and put in soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, sugar and crushed Sichuan peppercorns.
  • Heat the pan, add the garlic and sauce. Let it simmer for 1 minute.
  • Pour the sauce over the bok chop.
  • Ready to serve.
