This super simple marinated cucumber salad is easy to make. It only takes 5 minutes to prepare, 1 hour to marinate and it's ready to eat. The best thing is that it can be stored in the refrigerator for 5 days. You can serve it with meals and a glass of white wine or beer.
Ingredients
4cucumbers
1teaspoon salt
5tablespoonssugar
5tablespoonsvinegar
Instructions
Wash the cucumbers first. Cut them into thin slices (1 mm thick) with a knife, but don't cut through them. Cut them after 7 to 10 slices. In this way, the cucumbers are easier to pickle and taste better.
Put the salt, sugar, and vinegar in a glass container. Cover the lid and shake it to mix the salt and sugar slightly.
Add the sliced cucumbers. Cover the lid and shake it up and down until most of the sugar and salt has melted. Don't worry about the vinegar not covering the cucumber. After half an hour to an hour, it'll release excess water and cover the cucumber.
