If you know how to sear ground pork, you can make several delicious dishes with it. It's also the best pre-meal. I like to make extra portions, divide them into several packages and freeze them. It saves you time and makes your meals easier and faster to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 0.7 lb /300g ground pork (leg ham)

Instructions

  • preheat the skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute.
  • Add the ground pork use a spatula to spread the minced meat evenly in the pan. However, don't stir it until it's golden brown on the bottom, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir for about 2 to 3 minutes until it's all golden brown.
  • Divide it into several packets and freeze them.
  • You can also mix it with other spices and vegetables to make dishes you like.

Tips & Notes:

  1. You don't need to add oil because the fatty ground pork will realize the oil. The oil can make the ground meat moist without making it dry.
  2. It's best to use pork loin and leg hams, which are low in fat and higher in protein. The best ratio for ground meat is 70% lean meat and 30% fat meat. With this ratio, the pork won't be too dry and tough.
  3. Fry the meat over medium heat and don’t stir it at the beginning so that the meat doesn't get watery and you get nice brown ground meat.
  4. Always fry the pork in small portions, no more than 0.7 lb /300g at a time. If you take too much at a time, the ground meat won't brown nicely and will become watery.
