This is a great recipe for fried steak rice. Fried rice with steak in an intensely flavorful sauce, with extra protein and lots of vegetables – a complete dinner that you can get on the table quickly. And it’s really delicious you must try it.

- Scramble the eggs first. The oil in the scrambled eggs will be full of egg flavor. Then stir-fry the beef and rice so that the fried rice is full of egg flavor.
- You can use inexpensive beef for this recipe, such as flank steak, tenderloin or sirloin. I use flank steak.

What do you need:

2 Steak 6 oz each, cube
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Oyster sauce
1 tablespoon Cooking wine
1 tsp Black pepper
0.5 tsp Baking soda

Fried Rice:
3 bowls Cold cooked Rice
3 Eggs
1 bowl of Frozen diced carrots, peas, corn
2 tbsp Butter
3 Green Onion
1.5 tbsp Garlic minced
2 tbsp Soy sauce
How to make:
- Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and marinate it with soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, baking soda and cooking wine. Set aside while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
- Scramble the eggs – Heat the sesame oil in a large wok or non-stick frying pan over a medium high heat. Add the egg and fry, stirring gently, until lightly scrambled. Remove to a plate.
- Fry the beef – Heat the vegetable oil in the same pan over a high heat and add the beef.
- Let it rest for about 30 seconds before searing it in the pan for 3-4 minutes or until all sides of the steak are brown. You can extend the frying time depending on how you like your steak! Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add frozen vegetables and cook for 2 minutes.
- Rice & Sauce – Add rice and remaining sauce and toss for 2 minutes.
- Add scrambled eggs, beef, butter and the green part of the green onion and sauté over high heat for 1-2 minutes.

Tips & Notes:
- Cut the beef against the direction of the grain so that the tissue can be separated and the bite is easier to make.
- If you want to marinate for more than half an hour or overnight, you should add baking soda and cornstarch 10 minutes before cooking. Otherwise, the beef will be tough if you add baking soda too long.
- If you overcrowd the pan, your steak won’t sear but will steam.
