This honey garlic chicken thighs recipe takes less than 15 minutes. You don’t need a marinade and only 3 ingredients of honey garlic sauce to make your dinner quick and easy. It’s crispy on the outside, juicy, and tender on the inside. The best part is the savory, garlicky, slightly salty, and sweet sauce that coats the chicken thighs. I love pouring the honey garlic sauce over my steamed white rice or fried rice. It’s so filling and satisfying. Don’t forget to make extra servings for your lunchbox the next day.

Why does this honey garlic soy chicken taste so good and crispy?
You have to use chicken thighs with skin or any part of chicken with skin. The secret to making it crispy is to dust it with cornstarch or tapioca flour. The cornstarch covers the juices of the chicken and when the chicken skin is fried, the oil combines with the cornstarch and makes the chicken crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
