Easy and soft flatbread without yeast is made so quickly. You just need flour, milk, and butter to make a moist and soft flatbread. It can be used in many ways such as wraps for shawarma, kebabs, dipping in butter chicken or curry dishes, or as a pizza crust for your favorite pizza. I often make flatbread and store it, and I can make different changes depending on the dish.

Flatbread recipe

I like this flatbread because it doesn’t need yeast and saves a lot of time in fermentation. It’s full of buttery flavor and has a soft and pliable texture. If you’re vegetarian, you can use olive oil instead of butter to get the same effect. Another way to eat that I love is spreading garlic butter on flatbread. It’s full of garlic butter flavor and so delicious.
How to make flatbread – with NO yeast

It’s very convenient and quick to make, just mix the flour, butter, and milk evenly until the dough is moist, and let it rest for 30 minutes without excessive kneading. There are 2 ways to make the dough: You can use a stand mixer or my hand.
If you use bread flour, remember to add 2 more tablespoons of water. The most important is the dough doesn’t need to be kneaded too much. Otherwise, it’ll become too pliable.
“PRO TIP ” – – When the dough rests for 30 minutes, you need to cover it with plastic wrap so the dough doesn’t dry out.
How to prevent flatbread dry?

- When you fry flatbread, preheat the pan first to make sure it has a high temperature so the flatbread doesn’t get too dry. This way you don’t have to fry the flatbread in the pan for a long time, causing it to lose moisture and dry out.
- Cover the fried flatbread with a towel to keep the surface moist so that it doesn’t dry out.
- If the flatbread is too dry or cracked around the edges, you can brush it with butter or olive oil.

How to reheat & store flatbread:
The fried flatbread should be wrapped with plastic wrap or foil and then placed in the zip bag. In this way, the moisture isn’t lost and the humidity can be maintained.
It can be kept at room temperature for 3 days and in the refrigerator for 7-10 days, frozen for 2-3 months.
Reheat:
- Fry in a pan and spray both sides of the flatbread with a little water, the pan should be preheated beforehand, and the heating time of the two sides shouldn’t exceed 5 minutes.
- Oven: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, spray both sides of the flatbread with water, and bake for 5 minutes

SMALL ROLLS:
- Sprinkle a layer of flour on the table before you pour the dough, and stain 2 hands with flour.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces with a plastic dough scraper. Roll them into balls and then roll them into rounds 2-3 mm thick and 20 cm long.
COOK THE FLATBREAD:
- Heat the nonstick pan over medium heat without oil. If you're using a regular pan, add a little oil. (Note 5)

- Place it on a plate and cover it with a towel to keep the surface moist so it doesn't dry out. Continue with the remaining pieces.
- If the flatbread is too dry or cracked at the edges, you can brush it with butter or olive oil. Don't worry about the flatbread not being round enough, we don't sell it.
- OTHER FLAVORS: You can melt butter or olive oil and mix it with fresh chopped garlic or parsley and spread it on the flatbread. Or just spread it with butter or olive oil to get different flavors.
